Customer q:
I need help with a camshaft selection. The truck had a 305 tbi. It was replaced with a 260hp gm replacement engine and a gm 700r4 replacement transmission. Can you help with a camshaft selection?
The truck is my daily driver. I commute 140 miles one way and 100 miles of that is the interstate. Fuel mileage is 10-14 respectively as I run 33" tires with an axle ratio of 3:73. The exhaust is routed through flowtech headers via a 2 1/2" exhaust muffled by flowmaster delta 50. I am in search of increase fuel mileage and a little more power. I already like the combination. At some point I will have return to tbi. In addition, the 350 is running on an edelbrock 1406 on top of an edelbrock 2701.
I researched a few cams:
Edelbrock 2117
Edelbrock 2103
Comp cams 252h
Comp cams 250h
Even at that any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

JEGS ANSWER:
Thank you for giving JEGS the opportunity to assist you with your technical question. The cams you have researched will work well. However, I think with the combination you have the 2102 Edelbrock is the best choice. Should you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.
