Customer q:
I bought a Pertronix D100700 and as I go to install it, it seems to be 1/4 inch to long to completely be down snug on intake. What do I need to make it work?

Thank you for giving JEGS the opportunity to assist you. This length is standard on Chevy small blocks, are you sure this is not being held up by the oil pump drive? Might try bumping the motor around while pushing down on the distributor to see if it drops all the way in. Let us know how that goes.
