Note: you will need to reuse your original tips and clamps forthe tips for this system.Note: we have encountered vehicles where the driver side of the system does not hang properly without tightening up thestuds at the manifolds on the driver side. If your mufflers and or tip on the driver side is not hanging properly, you mayneed to tighten up the connection at the driver side manifold to pull the system back to proper alignment, and allow for thenew system to hang properly.1) Support the vehicle in a safe manner, using a shop hoist or frame contact jack stands on a level surface. Remove the old exhaustsystem behind the converter pipe, where the old system clamps to the converter pipe. Note: you will need to reuse your originalfactory clamps after the converters, as well as your original factory tips and clamps for the tips. You can remove the old system justby removing the clamps after the converters, and removing the exhaust at the flange after the large dual in/out factory resonatormuffler on the driver side, and then pulling the factory exhaust system forward and out of the rubber hanger mounts, you may need tolubricate these to remove the wire hooks from these, reuse these rubber mounts. You will also need to disconnect the ground on therear hanger on the passenger side at the inlet of the exhaust tip.2) Install the 2-3/4” I.D. end of the H-Pipe to the converter pipe, using the included 2-3/4” clamps. Tighten the assembly slightly, butdo not over tighten at this time.3) Install left and right front mufflers to the H-Pipe outlets using the included 3” clamps. Note: the straight end is the inlet on bothmufflers and the hooks of the hangers are welded on the outside edge of the mufflers which hook in towards the OE rubber hangermounts above. Attach these wire hooks to the OE rubber hanger mounts above.4) Install the left (driver side) and right tail pipes to the front mufflers using the included 3” clamps. The tailpipes are mirror imagesand both have 3 bends, with the long straight end on both being at the inlet. The hooks of the hangers are welded on the outsideedge of the tailpipes which hook in towards the OE rubber hanger mounts above. Attach these wire hooks to the OE rubber hangermounts above.5) Install the left and right rear mufflers to the left and right tailpipes using the remaining 3” clamps. The inlets of the rear mufflershave the slots in the necks, and the hooks of the hangers are welded on the outside edgeof the mufflers and hook in towards the OE rubber hanger mounts above.6) Attach the wire hangers on the rear mufflers to the OE rubberhanger mounts above. Install the left and right original exhaust tipsto the rear mufflers using the original clamps.7) Check for clearance of the frame, body, suspensionmembers and of all brake and fuel lines. When you aresatisfied with how the system hangs, tighten all clamps.
