2 For valve cover placement, drill a 9/16” (.5625) diameter hole in the valve cover.
2a Remove lock nut from bottom of valve and apply thread locker to threads.
2b Insert valve into valve cover and tighten lock nut with a 7/8” (8AN) aluminum fitting wrench. Proceed to step 4.
3 For intake manifold placement, remove the intake manifold from the engine. Drill a 33/64” (.5156)” diameter hole and tap to 9/16”-18. Remove all debris.

3b Thread valve into manifold and tighten (using the hex portion on the body of the valve) with a 7/8” (8AN) aluminum fitting wrench.
4 Adjustment of the valve is achieved by turning the top of the valve CW (clockwise) to increase engine vacuum or by turning the top of the valve CCW (counter clockwise) to decrease engine vacuum.
