Installation Instructions for 15485 Vortec Throttle Body Spacer

For 2005-2007 Chevy 4.8L, 5.3 L & 5.0L, 1999-2006 Silverado/Sierra 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 2004 Pontiac GTO 5.7L

Installation Instructions:

1. With engine off remove air cleaner assembly from top of throttle body unit.

2. Using a 10mm socket remove mounting nuts from the front side of throttle body. Remove wire connectors. Now remove throttle body. Leave O-ring gasket on intake if mileage is under 70,000.3. Remove the 3 throttle body studs from intake.

4. Install Vortec Spacer on intake, a gasket then throttle body unit. Bolt down with three 6mm x 50mm bolts &washers. Torque to 6 ft. Ibs.

5. Install wire connectors.

6. Reinstall air cleaner housing.

7. Start engine and let idle for a couple minutes. Then go drive!
