Installation Instructions for 15177 Fuel Filter/Water Separator

During installation allow enough room for removal and replacement of the element as well as draining the water. Apply a small amount of clean oil to the gasket of the fuel filter when installing. Tighten filter 1/4 to 1/2 turn past full contact between the gasket and the mounting head. Filter elements should be drained approximately every 3000 miles and replaced every 24,000 miles.
