Customer q:
I'm looking to swap my engine and convert to manual transmission. Does Edelbrock Total Performance RPM kit fit the 1964 Ford 289? JEGS states it does from 1962, but Edelbrocks brochure says 1965. Would it fit my 1964?? With the transmission conversion, the bolt pattern is different on the 1964 289's. Are there conversions kits to mate a modern manual transmission? Do you know if there is anyone offering bellhousing for this set up or will it be impossible to change to a manual gearbox?

The Edelbrock Total Performance RPM kit will fit a 1964 289. Unfortunately, we do not offer a bellhousing for this earlier model. You might try Advanced Adapters. If you need any other assistance with your swap, please let us know and we will see what we can do to help.
