Customer q:
I'm doing an engine swap and I wanted to know if the GM crate engine you have, #809-12530283, will bolt right to the transmission using the flywheel off the old engine? The reason I ask is in the "notes" for this engine it says it's for a 3/4-1 ton only not a 1/2 ton. However, in the larger "description" directly underneath the "notes", it says it can be used in a 1/2 ton. I'd really rather have the heavier duty engine with the 4-bolt main, but I want to do an easy swap without a lot of mods. Just want to be sure before I make the purchase. Thanks.
