My truck is bone stock. Not even the carb has been replaced. I have the C6 trans with kickdown. What gains (if any) could I expect with these parts? Are there any other items I will need to properly replace my OEM parts with these aftermarket? I also have cruise control that I want to keep.

These items pretty much have you covered, I would suggest the Edelbrock air cleaner # 350-1221 as the factory cleaner will not fit the Edelbrock properly.
