Customer q:
I am installing a Moroso overflow/re-circulation tank in a very tight place on the radiator support. This required some minor modifications to the mounting flanges (no big deal) in order to utilize existing mounting options and avoid drilling unnecessary holes in my vintage car. In order to actually mount the tank, I was forced to attempt R&R on the fluid level tube. What looked like ordinary clear vinyl tubing turned out to be something quite different - and very tough! Unfortunately, I wound up having to cut the tube to get it off. I can go back with the clear vinyl tube upon reassembly, but I'd rather have a tube made of the original material (which would likely never wear out). Is it possible to get some of that exact tubing? Thank You for your help.

JEGS ANSWER:
Thank you for giving JEGS the opportunity to assist you with your technical question. It was more then likely PTFE clean hose Which is very hard to cut with out some sharp shears or a HYD cutter. I do not carry the clear stuff, but it is fairly easy to find. a lot of major HYD out fitters will have it on the shelf and sell it by the foot. If you need anything else, please feel to reach out to us 24/7. Have a good day.
