I need the fuel sending unit for my firebird i see that you list replacement fuel tanks but no senders... help!!

Unfortunately we do not have any manufacturers that offer a sending unit for the 1983 Firebird.
The following is a universal sender that has the correct ohms to allow your gauge to read correctly:
