Customer q:
If I drive at highway speeds, I get gas bubbles in my overflow. That means I have a small head leak. Would a thicker head gasket help. I got the engine from a shop that was rebuilt remanufactured. It has flat top pistons, so would a thicker head gasket help?

JEGS ANSWER:
Where specifically is the head leaking? If it is the head gasket, a replacement is all that is needed to resolve the issue, a thicker version would not be necessary. If the issue is not the head gasket, then whatever component, including the head itself would need repaired or replaced.
