Running open pipes with no mufflers is not bad for the engine on a daily-driven street car. However, the factory computer and fuel injection system may be negatively affected as they were designed to work with a stock style exhaust; the O2 sensor(s) may read differently. 

Ultimately, you will need to decide if you are ok with running that setup.
