Will this part fit my 2006 Mazda 6 2.3 grand touring automatic sedan? 598-21-641B. I saw that it asked me which 4 cylinder I had there was like 3 options. All I know is that it’s a 2.3 lol. I just want to make sure that it’s going to fit my car before I order it. And is this cold air intake kit as good as the K&N typhoon kit? Is the air filter waterproof? I read that the K&N filter is. When it’s raining it’s going to suck water through the air filter? We don’t get high water but water does splash off of tires... and the cold air kit filter is by the tire... so just wondering... This is on the K&N site: water repellent DryCharger filter wrap. Do you know what the HP gain is with the aem kit? my car is only driven on the street so the aem would probably be a better choice for me. I also read that Injen cold air kit says 10+ HP gain, think that’s accurate? Thanks

Correct, part 598-21-641B will fit and it's very bit as good as K&N. None of their filters are waterproof. If it is submerged into water like the KN or any other brand. Water being sucked through should not be an issue. As long as the filter is not submerged into water there should not be an issue. Filter wrap was designed to keep large particles from getting into the intake track like off road racing or dirt car oval racing. You should see 3-5hp. Unfortunately, we don't sell Injen.
