Customer q:
This car will have a curb weight of 2300 lbs. My problem is any and all mechanics I have talked to are horsepower crazy. What do you suggest for this set up? I have on hand a 5.0 block/.30 over, Federal mogul rebuild kit, ProMaxx series 1 heads. Edelbrock Performer intake and a Holley 4160/ 600cfm, shorty aluminum water pump. What roller cam set up and compatible HEI distributor do I need for every day highway cruising at 70mph with the occasional need for speed out bust? The reason for heads, intake and water pump is to shave weight from engine not to make insane horsepower.

JEGS ANSWER:
Thank you for giving JEGS the opportunity to assist you. A good roller can for this combination Edelbrock #350-3722. As for an HEI distributor, you could use JEGS #555-40012. Be sure to use distributor gear #249-35200 to be compatible with the roller cam. Should you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.
