Customer q:
I'm rebuilding the differential on this car and am looking for a bare differential carrier housing. The only one I've been able to find is from Yukon. Are you aware of any other vendors who may offer this item?
The rear end is a GM 12 bolt posi. with 30 spline axles. At some point during the life of this car the ring gear bolts failed and the ring gear dug into the circumference of the carrier housing. I'm concerned that at certain speeds I could feel a vibration due to the housing being out of balance.
I would appreciate any assistance you can offer. Thanks for your help.
