Customer q:

I am looking into doing a points eliminator in my '49 Chevy Styleline 216ci. Everything is original other than converting to a 12v system. I have a resisted coil in the car now to reduce points voltage to 6-8v. What is my best option and the best way to swap over to electronic points? Can I use the coil I have now or do I need a new coil?
