Customer q:
I recently purchased crate engine #8758. The description stated single roller timing chain, it has a double roller. Also stated no provisions for a mechanical fuel pump, but it has that too. No complaints at all, but just wondering if there are any more extras I can expect. Extra capacity oil pan, etc? I ask about the oil pan because 5 quarts doesn't register as full on my dipstick. Trying to decide if I have the wrong dipstick. Thanks

JEGS ANSWER:
ATK will use different timing sets and block from time to time pending on availability. However, this would/should be 5 qt total system including the filter. What depth for your oil pan measure? It should be 7 3/4" to 8".
